Tax Free Childcare Scheme

Government Tax Free Childcare Scheme

Tax Free Childcare is a Government scheme to help working parents pay for childcare.  The Government will contribute £2.00 for every £8.00 you pay for childcare, up to a maximum of £2,000 per child per year (or £4,000 per year of your child is disabled)  Tax Free Childcare can only be used to pay for Ofsted registered childcare.  Check the criteria and apply here at www.childcarechoices.gov.uk

You can’t receive Tax Free Childcare and Universal Credits or Working Tax Credit at the same time.  Use the Governments calculator at www.childcarechoices.gov.uk to find out which option is better for your family.
